We have the new Young People Poster in stock. It is a full color poster featuring the question, "Can You Spot the Alcoholic?" There are 7 different individuals to choose from. It is very nicely done and we will sell it at the introductory price of $1.00 for as long as we can. It would luck great in a frame. The size is 12" x 18". At the bottom is the statement: Trick Question. It could be any or all of them. Alcoholism is an illness that anyone can have. If your drinking is causing problems, we may be able to help. There is white space for group information. A good addition to PI or CPC displays. The new prices are now in effect. Refer to the list for the changes. The Westside Group is now officially closed. While it was open, the group did a lot of good service work and no doubt helped many alcoholics. They will be missed. The building where they held meetings is open to having another AA group and will work to help one get started. The 12th Step Ministry is located at Inwood and Northwest Highway. If anyone is interested in beginning a new group at this location call and we will give you a name and phone number. A reminder that the office will be closed July 3rd for a long weekend. Have a safe and sober 4th! |

The new Greater Dallas Meeting Schedule, Summer-Fall 2009 are now in stock. Thanks to the Intergroup Reps and other members who did their best to get us the latest information on their groups. The only way we can keep an accurate schedule, written or on the website is if the groups keep us informed when something changes. We quite often get calls or email from confused newcomers who have gone to a meeting only to find the group has moved, the times have changed or the type of meeting is different. Thanks again to all the members who helped us. We appreciate your efforts. AAWS PRICE INCREASES JULY 1ST Remember that book prices are increasing Wednesday, July 1st, 2009. The Central Office will meet the AAWS/New York price increases. At this time, there will be no additional increases. The new increases do not include Grapevine literature or AAWS pamphlets.
