Using Credit at the Central Office
Tuesday, 15 June 2010
We have had a number of calls concerning the Dallas Central Office not allowing credit to local groups anymore.  That is not the case at this office.  The misinformation began on the district level by mistake but it did not take very long for the AA community to start calling us.  The Dallas Central Office has not changed our policy about group credit.  It is the same as it has been.  There may well be other Central Offices that no longer take credit but it is NOT us.  Please feel free to charge your group account as usual.  If you have any concerns give us a call.

Newsflash

The September 2010 Book of the Month will be:  Voices of Long-Term Sobriety, Old-Timers' Stories from the AA Grapevine. This is one of Grapevine's recent publications and a very good one.  The collection of 42 stories from long time AA members tell how they hit bottom and got sober, as well as vivid descriptions of the early days of AA.  One section, titled, "Living History" is a wonderful selection of "the old days".  Usually $10, thru September the book will be 50% off to individual members.  A great buy for $5!!
